John Scarisbrick

is one of Sweden’s most established and celebrated international fashion photographers. After six succesful years in New York in the nineties, he re-located to his hometown Stockholm in 2001. During his New York career, John was known for a highly distinctive and personal style of photography, full of energy and with interesting, often radical angles, largely influenced by punk music and other sub-cultural phenomena. In later years, his style has become more mature, subtle and sophisticated, more close and intimate with his models, oriented to beauty as well as fashion. John is also a great portrait photographer with an impressive portfolio full
of actors, artists, atheletes, musicians and a host of other celebrities.

Throughout his career, John has contributed to editorially to a large number of international magazines, the likes of BIG magazine, Mixte, New York Magazine, Vogue Russia, Jalouse, Dune, Spin, The Face, Stockholm New, Gloss, Bon, Jane, V magazine, W, Stern, Arena, HE magazine and Acne paper. His commercial client portfolio includes brands such as Diesel, H&M, ERES, Nike, Shiseido , CK Jeans, Kenneth Cole, Reaction, Energie Jeans, Pepe Jeans, Cimarron Jeans, United Bamboo, Philips, SAS, Mercedes Benz, Boots, MODO Eyewear,Filippa K ,Whyred and JC jeans.
